The editorial drew inspiration from the famous French impressionist artist, Claude Monet, known for his use of vibrant colors and his iconic paintings of water lilies and women with parasols.

[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color palette of the editorial, featuring shades of blue and peach, beautifully reflected Monet’s palette. These soft, romantic hues created an ethereal and dreamy atmosphere, adding a touch of whimsy to the event. The wedding gowns and flower fountain, also inspired by Monet’s paintings, further enhanced the artistic ambiance of the venue.[/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]The history of Glen Manor dates back to the early 20th century when it was built by John Van Alen, a prominent New York architect. Inspired by the grand chateaux of France, Van Alen designed Glen Manor to mimic the architectural style of a French country estate. The building features stunning stone walls, intricate ironwork, and a majestic entrance that instantly transports visitors to a different era.

One of the highlights of Glen Manor is its beautiful gardens, which provide a picturesque backdrop for weddings. The estate boasts meticulously landscaped grounds that include lush greenery, manicured lawns, and vibrant flower beds. These gardens are reminiscent of the renowned French gardens found in Paris, with their symmetrical layouts and carefully curated plantings.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Florals were brought to us by Botanica Wedding Floral. Giti and her team leaned into spring colors and created a show stopping deconstructed arch as our ceremony piece. Additional decor included a party cart from Chic Party Co, a macaron tower from Love and Flour, a seating chart display from Something Borrowed Event Decor, and additional signage by design House by Brittany. [field title=”Favorite Design Element”]Our outdoor table setting under the gorgeous awning at Glen Manor House was a highlight of the day. We leaned into a heavy floral centerpiece, utilized gorgeous table top rentals from Peak Event Services, and brought in Ryan Design’s hanging light fixture to tie the whole setting together![/field]
