Pink, Orange, Yellow, & Green “As an artist, I have always been drawn to color, and I thought why would my wedding be any different?”

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Both the bride and groom grew up in Dallas, Texas, and met in their freshman year of high school. They became friends and went to their Senior Homecoming Prom together. Chandler and Brett had no idea at the time, but they would be getting married by their high school principal just a few years later!
The couple ultimately wanted their wedding to be a reflection of who they are and their relationship. The bright colors infused a playful, joyous spirit into the event, celebrating their love and a life in full color. We’re reminded that surprises are always around the corner!
The bride’s family had long considered Hawai’i and its sparkling shores a second home. After visiting the Moana Surfrider on one of their trips, the engaged couple knew the charming historic hotel was the perfect place to host their nuptials! Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of the coastal city, the venue blended classic architecture with lush greenery and stunning ocean views.
The warmth of Hawaiian hospitality can be felt in the tropical custom details and timeless island setting. From the Hawaii theme welcome bags, to the locally inspired signature cocktails, guests were encouraged to embrace the spirit of Aloha and create an unforgettable experience for all!

[field title=”Food & Drink”]After a gorgeous sunset ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed the Hawaii inspired Signature Cocktails with a playful twist: Catch A Wave, Hawaiian Hammer, & Mai Tai The Knot. The menu featured island fusion appetizers and dinner.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The bride and groom were all about the flowers and ordered an extra large arch to accommodate their tall group. The exuberant mix of pink, orange, yellow, and green was a lively contrast against the lush greenery of the Moana Surfrider’s Diamond Lawn.
The bride’s statement bouquet incorporated a mix a classic roses and ranunculus with exotic tropicals like pin cushion proteas, pink ginger, and Vanda orchids. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The minimalist white 4 tiered wedding cake was adorned with a cascade of brightly colored flowers. Slicing revealed a s colorful surprise of delicious confetti layers.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Chandler was set on wearing a bridal veil, but in her search none of them were quite what she was looking for. One day her mom brilliantly suggested that she paint her own veil! On a whim, Chandler began designing her vision, pink and orange florals popping against the subtle embroidery of her dress. A difficult feat, Chandler managed to keep the veil a surprise for her hubby to be, as she secretly hand painted it over the course of a few months prior to the wedding. “It was everything I could have envisioned – but truly a labor of love!! And probably the hardest secret to keep!”[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]A merry reminder of more festivities to come, the guests picked their place card and mini hula dancer figurine from a tiered rattan shelf.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The surfboard “guestbook” was another custom wedding detail designed by the bride. It read “Aloha Fairs” a tropical pun on the newlywed’s last name. The couple had their guests sign the piece throughout the wedding week festivities and displayed it next to their sweetheart table during the wedding reception. The surfboard now hangs in their home, along with all of the joyful memories of their wedding week’s celebrations that took place on the warm, vibrant shores of Waikiki. [/field]
