Thanks to Penzi, we had the wedding of our dreams. Their effort and attention to detail made the day so special. I would describe our wedding as elegant and timeless. Our ceremony took place in the breathtaking Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, a stunning cathedral that set the perfect tone for our wedding. Our reception was held at Luna Escondida, a hidden gem that provided an intimate and enchanting atmosphere. Cocktail hour was hosted in Jardin Colibrí, a lush garden that resembled a real-life Monet painting. The florals, designed by FlorKlor, were absolutely beautiful and brought the space to life. White curtains hung around Salon Luna, adding to the intimate feel of the venue. The dance floor featured a hand-painted San Miguel heart, adding a personal and unique touch to the celebration.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]My now-husband showed me an invitation to a vow renewal ceremony for some close friends. The event was set to take place at Pretty Place, a chapel perched atop a mountain in South Carolina. As he handed me the invitation, my first question was, “What am I going to wear to this?” Without missing a beat, he picked up his phone and called his friend’s wife to ask about the dress code. She responded, “The ladies can wear white, and the men should wear dress pants and a button-down shirt.” After he hung up, I couldn’t help but wonder, “Why would the ladies wear white to a vow renewal ceremony?”

The day finally arrived for the vow renewal on the mountaintop. As I was getting ready, I began to have a gut feeling that he might propose. I quickly called my friend to share my suspicion. Before heading to Pretty Place, we made a quick stop at our favorite Italian restaurant, Jianna, in Downtown Greenville. Over dinner, I urged him to ask for the check because I was worried we’d be late for the ceremony. He assured me that we would make it on time, which only fueled my curiosity.

When we finally arrived at Pretty Place, I noticed the place was unusually empty, typically bustling with people enjoying the sunset. As we got out and walked down the aisle, I saw candles and white flowers adorning the space. At that moment, I realized I was right – it wasn’t a vow renewal ceremony; it was my proposal.[/field]
